Description:

Deoxyarbutin (DA), a synthetic form of arbutin synthesized without the hydroxyl moiety, provides a

promising treatment forreducing skin hyperpigmentation

The effection for inhibition of the enzyme tyrosine is 10 times compare with hydroquinone, 150 times

compare with kojic acid, 350 times compare with beta arbutin, 38.5 times with alpha arbutin.

It is very delicate material which is easily oxidized. In order to prevent the oxidation of deoxyarbutin and

keep the formula effective, the use of antioxidant agent is highly recommended Anti-oxidant : Sodium

metabisulfite(0.01-1.0 %)

It is a way to incorporate the hydrophilic Deoxyarbutin in lipophilic media. Deoxyarbutin give three main properties; Whitening effects, anti- age effect and UVB/ UVC filter .

Function:

-Deoxyarbutin can improve the metabolism of sunburn skin caused by radiation.

-Deoxyarbutin can evidently diminish the pigmentation caused by ultra-violet radiation.

-Deoxyarbutin restrains the melanogenesis through the cells poisoning reaction on melanin cells, and the blocking mechanism on tyrosinase.

-Deoxyarbutin can diminish the senile yellowish brown plaque, also effective for lentigines diminishing.
